
Programme Manager: Infrastructure Pipeline Development & Management
Mr Alvino Wildschutt-Prins
Mr Alvino Wildschutt-Prins is appointed as the Programme Manager for Infrastructure Pipeline Development & Management within Infrastructure South Africa (ISA). Alvino has over 15 years experience in Policy and Research Analysis, Project and Pipeline Management in the infrastructure space. In recent years, Alvino developed a repository of knowledge around all matters related to infrastructure corridor development in Africa whilst working at the Development Bank of Southern Africa as an Infrastructure Investment Specialist.
Furthermore, Alvino was responsible for building effective stakeholder relations with key players in the local and international market, strategic planning and worked closely with project preparation and investment officers of the DBSA and other relevant institutions. Alvino managed the packaging of the Central Corridor shortlisted phase 1 projects in partnership with the Business Working Group of the World Economic Forum and the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) in East Africa in preparation for the first High Level Industry and Investor’s Forum.
He also held the position of Relationship Manager for the Sustainable Development Investment Partnership (SDIP) Africa Hub Programme of the World Economic Forum for two years. Alvino holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) as well as a Master’s in Commerce in Development Finance from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) where he received a Cum Laude for his dissertation focusing on Blended Finance for Infrastructure projects in Africa.
