Ms. Mameetse Masemola
Ms. Mameetse Masemola is the Head of Infrastructure South Africa (ISA), where she leads the country’s infrastructure strategy and oversees the National Infrastructure Plan 2050. She drives the development of a bankable pipeline of nationally strategic projects, advances policy and regulatory frameworks, and strengthens coordination across government, state-owned entities, and the private sector. Her work positions infrastructure as a catalyst for inclusive economic growth and long-term national development.
A recognised thought leader in infrastructure and public investment, Ms. Masemola previously served as Deputy Director-General for Infrastructure Investment Planning and Oversight and held senior roles in ICT and trade sector development, including as Government Convener for the Trade and Industry Chamber at NEDLAC. She holds an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of the Western Cape (with studies at the University of Missouri, USA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Public and Development Management from the University of the Witwatersrand, and an MBA from Henley Business School, University of Reading, complemented by executive programmes at Harvard University and the University of Cape Town.
